Plastic Reign

My 3D wall sculptures give a visual voice to the worlds plastic plague concerns. I ransform discarded household plastics and found objects into mysterious winged forms to capture ones curiosity for further examination. By altering the context of everyday materials and plastics, I set up an opportunity for visual discovery as well as a challenge to assess one’s own plastic use behavior. In this single use culture, for change to take hold, we must first become aware of our own plastic habits.
